This vegetarian pizza is a simple yet super tasty treat that is perfect for meat-free Mondays!

Begin by getting your pizza oven up to temperature.

While your oven is heating up, dust a clean surface with semolina or flour. This will prevent your base from sticking, making it easy to slide the pizza into the oven. Roll out the dough on the dusted surface. You’ll want your base to be about 0.5cm thick so that it cooks to complete perfection. We strongly recommend the Northern Dough Co’s amazing homemade dough. It’s the best dough and tastes sensational when cooked in a pizza oven.

When you’re happy with the thickness and shape of your base, pinch the edges to create a crust. This helps to keep your toppings from sliding off and makes it easier to pick up and eat!

Spread tomato passata over the base and top with the mozzarella cheese, tomatoes, sweetcorn and basil. Place in your pizza oven and bake for 2-4 minutes, until the base is crisp and the cheese is melted.

Remove using the pizza peel and slide onto a serving plate or board.

Drizzle balsamic glaze over the pizza then cut into slices, serve and enjoy.

TIP! Don’t forget that you can mix and match any vegetables you fancy on the day. Try spinach, pinenuts, pesto and sheep’s milk ricotta!
